This includes transaction-driven work, exception handling, control and audit considerations, and direct impact on client outcomes. * Experience may come from direct operational roles or deeply embedded consulting engagements. Candidates must demonstrate a practical understanding of operational process flow, controls, core systems, data constraints, and operational risk tradeoffs. * Retirement industry experience is highly preferred, including familiarity with ERISA, recordkeeping, and plan administration. In-Scope Industry Experience (Examples), * 10+ years in management consulting or enterprise transformation, with proven ability to combine strategic framing and hands-on analytics. * Advanced proficiency in R and Python for statistical modeling; SQL for data extraction. * Experience designing and executing hypothesis-driven analyses from start to finish. * Strong business case development and value realization expertise. * Must have Financial Services experience; Retirement industry experience is highly preferred. * Comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels; able to influence executives while performing deep analytical work. ## Description Strategic Framing & Hands-On Execution * Partner with business leaders to define problems and shape outcomes using a consultative, data-informed approach. * Personally execute end-to-end analyses, from hypothesis formulation to coding in R/Python and delivering actionable insights. * Develop business cases and value realization frameworks that guide strategic investment decisions. Advanced Data Analysis & Insight Generation * Perform hypothesis-driven analysis using R, Python, and SQL, not limited to Excel or BI tools. * Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to uncover trends and performance drivers. * Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate advanced analytics into decision-making, Relevant financial services experience may include: * Retirement operations / recordkeeping, such as plan onboarding, distributions, money-in processing, compliance testing, regulatory reporting, or trade, treasury, or investment services. * Insurance operations, including policy administration, underwriting operations, or claims operations. * Trust or asset management operations, including trust administration, custody, fund accounting, reconciliations, or client reporting. * Financial services operations consulting involving hands-on process redesign, operating model execution, or control rationalization. These environments share complex workflows, exception-heavy processing, control requirements, and non-clean operational data consistent with the challenges of this role.
