Keep reading… A day in the life… Wondering what a day in the life of Application Analyst I at The Iowa Clinic might look like? + Maintains a current working knowledge of designated software end-user needs. + Creates new and deletes old user security for designated software. + In collaboration with Information Technology, takes accountability for software including, but not limited to, conducting maintenance, providing system support for data bases, reporting problems, testing, training and implementation of upgrades. + Serves as contact for support related to designated software/hardware issues. + Creates all training materials and prepares class schedules and trains personnel on designated software. + On-call for issues relating to software as needed. + Serves as a member of the Information Technology "support team". + Maintains relationships with all personnel to facilitate positive working relationships in issue resolution. + Maintains awareness of applicable laws and/or regulations affecting area of responsibility and makes recommendations for changes to ensure compliance. Actively pursues inconsistencies and appropriately brings to the attention of the Manager/Director. + Promotes a positive, professional image of The Iowa Clinic both internally and externally.
