## About the Role

Do you have experience in Software engineering?, * B.S. in Software or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field. MSEE is a plus.

 * 7+ years of professional hands-on experience in Software Controls Engineering.
 * Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.
 * Ability to travel for work-related purposes as needed; access to reliable transportation is required due to the nature of our business and multiple client sites.
 * Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
 * Background checks are required., * Experience programming industrial automation systems using PLCs, HMIs, and industrial software platforms.
 * Proficiency with several of the following:
 + PLCs: Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Siemens, Beckhoff, B&R, Codesys
 + HMI/SCADA: Ignition, FactoryTalk View, WinCC, Maple Systems
 + Industrial Robotics: FANUC, ABB, Epson, Denso
 + Motion Control, Vision Systems, and Industrial Networking
 * Familiarity with Python, C/C++, C#, or similar programming languages.
 * Experience with Windows, Linux, and virtual machine environments (VMware, Hyper-V, VirtualBox).
 * Experience commissioning and troubleshooting automated equipment.

## Description

* Design, program, test, and commission PLC and HMI software for custom automation systems.
 * Integrate automation components including robots, motion systems, vision systems, sensors, and safety devices.
 * Troubleshoot and support machine startup, commissioning, and customer acceptance testing.
 * Develop technical documentation including control specifications and software documentation.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver complete automation solutions.
 * Lead controls engineering efforts on complex projects.
 * Mentor engineers and provide technical direction.
 * Support proposal development, project planning, and customer technical discussions.
