## About the Role

* Communication and Soft Skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally with end users at all technical levels; strong follow-up habits and customer service orientation.
 * Helpdesk and Ticketing Systems: Familiarity with helpdesk platforms and structured ticket management practices.
 * Workstation Hardware: Experience swapping hard drives, adding video cards and monitors, and building workstations from scratch.
 * Networking and Firewall: Foundational experience with network troubleshooting and firewall concepts.

Physical Requirements of Job:

Physical Skills: Normally assigned to work in an office environment where there is little exposure to dust, dirt, and noise. The IT room may be at a cooler temperature with fans running and dedicated AC. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to manipulate various computer equipment required.

Visual Activity: Able to see and discriminate detail in written documents and messages from a computer screen.

Auditory Activity: Good skills to distinguish sounds in normal conversation levels.

Verbal Activity: Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of employees, patients, families, co-workers, and public groups.

## Description

Essential functions may include, but are not limited to, the following:

 * Serve as the first point of contact for all incoming IT support requests, ensuring prompt acknowledgment and consistent follow-up with end users through resolution.
 * Manage the repair ticket system through the full lifecycle: intake, triage, assignment, status updates, and closure.
 * Manage inventory of computer systems, equipment, and service parts.
 * Perform system maintenance and upgrades at the direction of the IT Specialist.
 * Manage vendor relationships across phone, internet, and hardware suppliers, including warranty repairs, parts procurement, and ongoing support.
 * Build and repair workstations and laptops.
 * Install software on laptop, desktop, and server computers attached to the company network.
 * Provide problem resolution and modifications to assigned desktop and server software.
 * Provide support for specialized vendor-produced software systems.
