The Lead Software Engineer will be responsible for leading the design, development, and integration of various technology solutions for these systems. This will involve becoming a subject matter expert in Parametric's operational systems, along with the research, design, and implementation of new technologies and solutions to solve key challenges for the organization. Projects completed by this team are highly technical and critical for enabling efficient global operations. The ideal individual is a proven leader who excels when working collaboratively with other talented individuals. Custom software solutions are a key element of our success, and, as such, we consider software engineering a tier-one competency. This position will report directly into the Operations Technology team and work closely with business analysts, business partners, and technical leaders. This is a management role, and the Lead Software Engineer will lead projects and manage and mentor developers on their team. A critical objective for this role is to support the architecture and delivery of scalable enterprise solutions by leveraging AWS cloud-native technologies, designing and implementing microservices, and evolving existing services following industry best practices with a relentless focus on performance and resilience.
