Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Software Engineer, Growth and Monetization - **Company:** Hex Technologies - **Location:** New York, NY, United States - **Experience:** Experienced - **Salary:** $198,000.0 - $265,000.0 - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Amazon Web Services, Databases, Continuous Integration, Python (Programming Language), PostgreSQL, Redis, TypeScript, ReactJS, Backend, B2b Software, Kubernetes, Graphql, Front End Software Development, React Redux, Terraform - **Published:** June 24, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.dice.com/job-detail/6557b102-e841-4339-a4f7-3bff1275b1f7 ## About the Role * You have 4+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer-comfortable building across frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend systems. * You operate with a "business owner" mindset: driving business outcomes and delivering value to customers matter more to you than writing perfect code. * You're pragmatic with good data intuition. You're just as comfortable making fast decisions on imperfect data as you are setting up tracking and running stat-sig experiments. * You default to action-shipping fast, learning quickly, and iterating relentlessly. * You're familiar with B2B SaaS, experimentation, billing, and/or collaboration products. It's a bonus if you have: * Experience at a product-led growth (PLG) company * Background in analytics, data tools, or developer-focused products * Familiarity with growth loops, funnel optimization, and activation frameworks (extra bonus if you're an Elena Verna or Lenny's Newsletter subscriber) * Previous founder or early-stage startup experience-you know what it means to own outcomes and wear multiple hats. Our stack Our product is a web-based notebook and app authoring platform. Our frontend is built with Typescript and React, using a combination of Apollo GraphQL and Redux for managing application state and data. On the backend, we also use Typescript to power an Express/Apollo GraphQL server that interacts with Postgres, Redis, and Kubernetes to manage our database and Python kernels. Our backend is tightly integrated with our infrastructure and CI/CD, where we use a combination of Terraform, Helm, and AWS to deploy and maintain our stack.
