 * Hands-on experience with US Navy 3-M processes and documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

 * Experience in welding, including structural, steel, and carbon steel welding.
 * Knowledge of vertical/horizontal welding and X-ray procedures.
 * Experience in shipyard operations.

## Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, overhaul, and operational testing of electrical systems aboard ships, supporting the Refueling Complex Overhaul program., * Install, repair, and test electrical systems on ships.

 * Support the Refueling Complex Overhaul program.
 * Read and interpret drawings related to chill water, ventilation, and steam systems.
 * Conduct inspections and testing, including flange/fitting inspections and hydrostatic testing.
 * Assess and repair corrosion on shipboard systems.
 * Replace or repair flow regulators, solenoids, temperature regulating valves, and isolation valves.
 * Mentor, train, and teach coworkers and customers.
 * Troubleshoot and repair shipboard ventilation systems, such as cooling coils and preheaters.
