## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
 * At least 1 year of CAD experience (PTC Creo preferred)
 * Ability to obtain FAA Part 107 certification within 3 months
 * Strong mechanical aptitude and independent problem-solving skills
 * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
 * Excellent troubleshooting, attention to detail, and communication skills
 * Motivated team player with strong collaboration abilities, * Experience with UAS (drone) platforms
 * Familiarity with Pixhawk autopilots (PX4 or Ardupilot)
 * Knowledge of MAVLink communication protocol

## Description

* Design mechanical components for Sentera sensors and hardware
 * Plan and execute integration of hardware with new UAS platforms
 * Maintain and enhance existing sensor integrations
 * Conduct UAS flight testing and validation activities
 * Design, fabricate, and document wire harnesses
 * Develop and maintain engineering, production, and user documentation
 * Provide Level 2 engineering support
 * Perform hardware/software compatibility testing across sensors, UAS platforms, and third-party software
 * Create and manage engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOMs)
