## Description

The IT Account Executive will serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing customers seeking IT services.

This role combines sales, account management, customer success, and business development responsibilities. Success requires the ability to understand business needs, communicate technology solutions clearly, and build long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities

New Business Development

 * Respond to inbound sales inquiries
 * Conduct discovery calls with prospective customers
 * Identify customer business and technology needs
 * Develop and present proposals
 * Follow up on open opportunities
 * Manage opportunities through the sales pipeline
 * Coordinate with technical staff during solution design and onboarding

Existing Customer Growth

 * Conduct periodic account reviews
 * Identify opportunities for additional services
 * Recommend cybersecurity improvements
 * Recommend backup and disaster recovery solutions
 * Identify infrastructure refresh opportunities
 * Assist customers with technology planning and budgeting
 * Generate project opportunities from existing accounts

Sales Administration

 * Maintain records and opportunity tracking
 * Prepare quotes and proposals
 * Track pipeline activity and forecasting
 * Coordinate handoff to service delivery teams
 * Participate in sales and operations meetings
