We are seeking a passionate and skilled Game Design & Coding Instructor to lead a 3-week summer course for high school students. This program aims to introduce students to foundational game design and coding concepts while fostering creativity and computational thinking. The ideal candidate will have experience in game development and/or coding and a genuine passion for working with youth., * Teach foundational game design and coding skills (game mechanics, programming logic, design principles, and playtesting) * Guide students through individual or group game projects from concept to completion * Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment * Encourage creativity and critical thinking through hands-on game building * Assist students with project development, including brainstorming and presentation skills * Provide constructive feedback and mentorship * Support students in preparing for the STEM Showcase on July 25, 2026, * Compensation/Time Commitment: $30-$35/hr. The exact rate will depend on level of education and experience. There may be a few paid workshops, team trainings, and meetings throughout the summer.
