Must be able to work on W2 without sponsorship. No 3rd party agencies. Cloud Database Administrator · 25% Cloud Data Platform Administration: Administer Azure Databricks workspaces, clusters, pools, permissions, and configurations. Implement governance, access controls, secrets management, and workspace policies. Ensure cost-efficient compute usage through autoscaling, cluster policies, and monitoring. · 20% Data Infrastructure Reliability & Performance: Monitor performance of Databricks jobs, SQL warehouses, and underlying storage. Proactively tune clusters, SQL environments, and pipelines to ensure high availability. Maintain observability through monitoring platforms, SQL Server, Databricks Metrics, and alerting. · 15% Data Backup, Recovery, & Resilience: Resolve data platform issues related to cluster performance, job failures, permissions, or integration points. Collaborate with data engineering and development teams to troubleshoot environment-level issues. · 15% Database & Data System Security: Implement platform-wide security standards: SQL roles, Azure RBAC, network rules, Unity Catalog privileges.
