## About the Role

Do you have experience in Schema design?, Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

 * Must work on technology Cloud Modernization/Transformation program involving AWS Databricks.
 * 12+ years in data architecture with at least 2 projects involving AWS Databricks.
 * Strong experience in large-scale cloud data modernization programs
 * Strong experience in Data Architecture
 * Experience in AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, Athena)
 * Strong experience in Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog)
 * Strong experience in Data modeling (Datawarehouse + Lakehouse)
 * Experience in Integration architecture & governance frameworks

## Description

* Define target data architecture (Lakehouse/Data Platform) including ingestion, processing, storage, and consumption layers
 * Design scalable, fault-tolerant, and high-performance solutions on AWS
 * Establish data integration patterns and architecture standards
 * Drive data governance, data federation, security, and compliance frameworks
 * Lead POCs and architectural validations for critical requirements
 * Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into solution design
 * Guide engineering teams on best practices and platform optimization
 * Define cutover strategy: Dual-run / shadowing approach, Zero-downtime migration, Rollback mechanisms
 * Ensure architecture meets: High throughput and low latency requirements, Horizontal scalability, Fault tolerance and resiliency
 * Experience in AWS services like Lambda, SQS, Event Bridge, SNS, Step function, EKS, S3 etc.
 * Identify and mitigate risks related to: Migration complexity, Dependency management, Performance bottlenecks, Data integrity
 * Define contingency plans for: Rollbacks, Failure scenarios. Ensure production readiness across all waves.
