Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use, * Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college/university ## Description The AVP - Market Data Sourcing serves as the Global Category Lead for all Market Data and Data Licensing agreements enterprise wide. * Lead end-to-end sourcing for supplier agreements across Market Data and other Data Licensing categories * Analyze Market Data spend and create a comprehensive Category Strategy to optimize how Moody's consumes third-party data across its various business units * Create and execute strategic sourcing events (RFPs, RFIs, targeted negotiations) with key Market Data suppliers that align to business needs * Act as Subject Matter Expert to advise stakeholders on data licensing structures, including usage rights, entitlements, and compliance requirements * Proactively manage Market Data renewal pipeline in collaboration with internal stakeholders * Liaise with Enterprise Data Estate and Partnerships team on inbound data agreements that require Procurement support * Collaborate with third-party benchmark providers to validate pricing proposals and negotiate competitive purchase agreements * Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Technology, and Data Governance to align sourcing strategy with enterprise priorities * Build strong relationships with senior business leaders and influence decisions at the executive level * Understand and report savings metrics to help contribute to department-wide objectives * Consistently focus on continuous improvement and process change * Leverage analytics, automation, and AI to improve sourcing efficiency and decision-making About the Team Our Procurement & Sourcing Group (PSG) team is responsible for driving strategic sourcing initiatives and delivering cost optimization across Moody's global operations.
