## About the Role

Do you have experience in Server management automation?, * Strong experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE)

 * Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
 * Hands-on experience with Ansible
 * Solid understanding of endpoint security principles
 * Experience supporting Linux systems
 * Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
 * Familiarity with the ITIL framework

Nice to Have

 * Experience in large enterprise environments
 * Additional scripting (e.g., Python, Bash)
 * Broader experience across Microsoft security tools

## Description

This position requires the successful candidate to work on a W2 directly with FDM. We cannot accept C2C, 1099 or employment sponsorship (e.g. H1-B) for this position., FDM is seeking a Production Support Engineer to support critical security and infrastructure platforms within a fast-paced, cybersecurity-focused environment. This role will focus on maintaining, optimizing, and automating endpoint security tools, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft technologies and cloud-based systems., * Provide day-to-day production support for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) and related security tools

 * Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve endpoint and system issues in a timely manner
 * Develop and maintain PowerShell and dbrun scripts to automate workflows and improve efficiency
 * Leverage Ansible for configuration management and deployment automation
 * Support systems across Linux environments and integrate with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams across security, infrastructure, and engineering
 * Follow ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management
