LICENSE(S)/CERTIFICATION(S) * Certification or progress toward certification in database technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle) preferred. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES * Basic knowledge of relational database systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. * Familiarity with database concepts including tables, queries, and backups. * Understanding of data security and confidentiality standards. Database Administrator * Assist with basic database installation, configuration, and routine maintenance tasks under supervision. * Monitor database performance and availability, escalating issues as needed for resolution. * Support regular backup, recovery, and data integrity checks to ensure reliable system operations. * Help maintain user access permissions and follow security protocols to protect sensitive information. * Participate in data cleanup, updates, and minor troubleshooting activities. * Document standard procedures and assist in maintaining database records and reports. * Collaborate with IT staff and developers to support application updates and database connections. * Learn and apply organizational standards for database management, performance, and compliance., * Identifying with Customers: Understanding who the external and internal customers are and what they value.
