We will provide specialty tools, test sets, laptop, and PPE. * Must be willing to work overtime, which could impact holidays and weekends. Education Requirements: * High school diploma or G.E.D. required. * A college degree or military experience with 3 years of related work experience, or 5+ years of related experience, may be accepted. ## Description We are hiring an experienced Telecommunications Technician to join one of our largest Fortune 500 energy and utility clients. In this role, you will apply your knowledge across all areas of telecommunications to perform maintenance on telecommunications equipment, respond to system and service outages, and support network turn-ups and upgrades across the client's service territory. This is a hands-on, field-based opportunity for a seasoned technician who is comfortable working with live DC power plant systems, copper and fiber terminations, and a range of network equipment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong safety mindset who can identify the proper resources to develop solutions and devise new approaches to the problems encountered in the field, while working independently and coordinating with multiple groups.
