## About the Role

* Experience supporting and maintaining restaurant or retail POS systems preferred
 * Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new systems and applications
 * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues and identify effective solutions
 * Strong understanding of Windows environments, networking concepts, databases, and system integrations
 * Ability to balance project work, system maintenance, support requests, and competing priorities
 * Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
 * Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
 * Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused in fast-paced environments
 * Experience working collaboratively across departments and with external technology vendors
 * Ability to maintain confidential information and exercise sound judgment

Additional Requirements

 * Availability to support after-hours and weekend system maintenance or issue resolution as needed
 * Ability to participate in an on-call support rotation
 * Availability for occasional local and domestic travel

## Description

As a Restaurant Systems Analyst, you'll serve as a subject matter expert for BJ's core restaurant technology platforms while partnering with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and IT teams to drive innovation and operational excellence.

 * Serve as the in-house expert for restaurant technology systems, including POS, Kitchen Display, Table Management, and related platforms
 * Manage major system upgrades, enhancements, and implementations from planning through deployment
 * Lead and support restaurant technology projects, ensuring successful execution and adoption
 * Evaluate, test, and deploy new functionality across restaurant systems and solutions
 * Partner with Operations, Marketing, Finance, and other business teams to develop technology solutions that support business objectives
 * Provide technical expertise during project planning, testing, configuration, and implementation phases
 * Support new application, system, and process deployments across the IT organization
 * Serve as an advanced escalation point for complex restaurant systems issues and troubleshooting
 * Collaborate with technology vendors and service providers to optimize system performance and resolve issues
 * Evaluate new hardware and software solutions to support restaurant operations
 * Develop system documentation, training materials, and user support resources
