## About the Role

* 3+ years of experience in Snowflake platform operations or support
 * Snowflake certification (e.g., SnowPro Core) preferred
 * Strong SQL skills and basic scripting (Python or Bash)
 * Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms (Azure/Google Cloud Platform acceptable)
 * Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible)
 * Experience with Linux systems and batch scheduling tools
 * Knowledge of ITSM processes and tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
 * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
 * Excellent communication and collaboration skills

## Description

Kforce has a client in need of a Snowflake Data Platform Operations Engineer., * Provide first-level support for Snowflake platform incidents, triage, and resolution

 * Monitor platform health and performance using observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Grafana)
 * Develop and maintain operational runbooks and recovery procedures
 * Support disaster recovery and operational readiness activities
 * Manage Snowflake objects (databases, schemas, roles) and lifecycle processes
 * Administer IAM, including user/role management and integration with enterprise tools
 * Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and implement updates
 * Manage incidents, changes, and service requests through ITSM tools
 * Create documentation and training materials for operational support
 * Drive continuous improvement of platform stability and operations
