## Description

The Data Verification & Documentation Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of applicant data throughout the leasing process. This position supports a seamless and compliant application journey by reviewing documentation, validating applicant information, and partnering closely with onsite teams and applicants.

This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment while delivering a positive experience for both internal and external stakeholders.

 * Review multifamily housing applications and screening results to provide clear, timely approval or denial recommendations

Income Verification & Analysis

 * Analyze income documentation (pay stubs, bank statements, tax records) to accurately calculate applicant eligibility
 * Identify discrepancies and ensure all financial data meets required guidelines

Stakeholder Communication

 * Partner with onsite property teams to communicate application status, decisions, and next steps
 * Collaborate with applicants to clarify information, resolve issues, and request additional documentation when needed

Documentation & Data Integrity

 * Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date applicant records within internal systems
 * Ensure all supporting documentation is properly recorded, compliant, and audit-ready

Background Screening & Research

 * Conduct background checks and database searches to support application decision-making
 * Evaluate findings in alignment with company policies and regulatory standards

Reporting & Process Efficiency

 * Track and report weekly on application volume, status, and turnaround times
 * Identify opportunities to improve workflows, documentation practices, and overall efficiency

 * Apply company policies and compliance standards consistently across all application decisions
