In your daily activities as a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to be a key contributor on our development team creating new financial applications and shared platform services. You will be using an innovative technology stack as well as engage daily with other Software engineers, DevOps engineers, Product owners, and Business Analysts, on your team and across the organization. The primary programming language is Go, and if you aren't familiar with it you'll have a chance to learn as you Go (pun very much intended). What you'll be responsible for: * Writing, testing, and delivering high-quality code to implement product features, enhancements, and bug fixes. * Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to translate product requirements into technical solutions. * Participating in peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and continuously improving the team's code quality. * Actively contributing to agile development practices including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement. * Taking ownership of assigned tasks and proactively ensuring timely delivery of features through effective communication and collaboration with team members. * Completing product technical design and prototyping, software development, bug verification, and resolution. * Providing technical/engineering support for new and existing applications from code delivery until the retirement of the application. * Adhering to documented departmental and corporate standards. Overseeing the definition and documentation of standards.
