The IT Services Administrator provides technical support service internally and externally. The position provides support for Windows Servers, M365/Azure, Google Workspace, and a variety of software offerings, provides technical oversight of junior administrator and service desk personal, oversees technical projects, implements new systems, maintains and updates server infrastructure, addresses service tickets in a timely and professional manner. In addition, the I.T. Services Administrator will make recommendations for service improvement, automation and integration opportunities, provide regular reports on service health, create and manage technical documentation, and uphold the Office of Technology's dedication to quality and security., + Lead and manage the daily activities of the IT Services Team and ticketing system to keep initiatives on track, on time, and on budget. + Identify new service opportunities and assist with budgeting for technical support and repair services. + Install, configure, maintain, support, monitor, and troubleshoot networking and computer technology including but not limited to: o Networking equipment (routers, switches, wireless access points). o Firewalls and VPNs. o Desktop and portable computers, computing devices, and peripherals. o Present and future client operating systems (i.e., Windows, Chrome OS, macOS, and open source). o Application software/suites, troubleshooting tools, antivirus remediation, security best practices. o Printers (e.g., laser, color, inkjet, wide format) and copiers when requested. + Provide field repair and troubleshooting of computer equipment.
