You understand your customer's environment and how to develop the right systems for their mission. Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing training, analysis, and decision-making capabilities across the Air Force enterprise., * 2+ years of experience in Department of Defense simulation and training environments

 * Experience with standards such as High-Level Architecture (HLA), Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS), and Open Mission Systems (OMS)
 * Experience with LAN or WAN infrastructure, remote connectivity solutions, and network hardware, including routers, bridges, and firewalls
 * Secret clearance
 * Associate's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field
 * IAT Level II Certification

Nice If You Have:

 * Experience with cloud technology, software virtualization and containerization, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), SysML, and Digital Engineering (DE)
 * Knowledge of systems engineering and standards processes based on the Systems Engineering Body of Knowledge (SEBoK)
 * Possession of excellent communication and public speaking skills
 * Top Secret clearance
 * Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or CS field

## Description

As a Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in improving cybersecurity and promoting greater standardization of simulator components by leveraging a modular open systems architecture. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to transform operational challenges into effective technical solutions within Air Force simulation and training environments.
