## Description

We are seeking an IT Help Desk Specialist to support the technology needs of our campus. This on-site role is responsible for assisting end-users, managing IT infrastructure, maintaining internal and external systems, and assessing future technology needs to enhance operations., * Oversee, install, manage, and maintain Jersey College's IT network, ensuring system security and efficiency.

 * Maintain operational integrity of all information technology equipment and software.
 * Administer and monitor internal servers, intranet, and extranet sites.

Help Desk Support

 * Provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
 * Manage the IT help desk, ensuring timely resolution of support requests.

IT Training & User Support

 * Develop and conduct training for faculty, staff, and students on IT systems and best practices.
 * Create user-friendly documentation and resources to improve technology adoption and efficiency.

Technology Assessment & Strategy

 * Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend relevant solutions to enhance the institution's IT infrastructure.
 * Ensure compliance with IT policies and best practices.

Other Responsibilities:

 * Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to optimize IT solutions.
 * Perform other duties as assigned.
