Advanced degree preferred. * Minimum 8 years of aerospace or comparable regulated-industry design experience, with a track record of taking hardware from clean-sheet concept to production. * Deep experience designing electromechanical systems. Background in actuation, landing gear, mechanisms, rotating machinery, or aircraft systems integration is strongly preferred. * Expert proficiency in a major CAD platform (CATIA, SolidWorks, or Siemens NX) and strong command of GD&T. * Strong analytical foundation: hand calculations, FEA, materials and fastener selection, fatigue and structural margin assessment. * Working knowledge of aerospace design and certification standards such as 14 CFR Part 25, AS9100, RTCA DO-160, ARP4754A, and ARP4761. * Based in the Dallas, Texas area and able to work onsite. * Authorized to work in the United States, with familiarity with ITAR and EAR export-control requirements., * Experience with high-voltage power systems, motor drives, inverters, or EV powertrain technology. * Direct experience with FAA certification programs (STC or TC), including DER coordination and preparation of certification data. * Experience supporting retrofit or aftermarket modifications and MRO installations. * Familiarity with aircraft electrical power, APU interfaces, or flight-control system integration. * Prior experience in a startup or small-team environment, comfortable wearing multiple hats. ## Description We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead the mechanical and electromechanical design of the eTaxi system and its integration onto various aircraft models beginning with the Embraer E-175.
