Education and Experience: Candidates must meet one of the following requirements: * Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline from an accredited college or university and twenty (20) years of Systems Engineering experience. OR * High School Diploma or GED and twenty-four (24) years of Systems Engineering experience. OR * Qualified Engineering Fields include, but are not limited to: Aeronautical, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems Engineering, and Engineering Management. OR * Related disciplines include, but are not limited to: Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or similar technical fields. Qualified Engineering Fields include, but are not limited to: Aeronautical, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems Engineering, and Engineering Management. Clearance Requirement: * Must possess an active TS SCI with appropriate Polygraph to be considered for this role ## Description At Independent Software, as a Level 6 Systems Engineer, you will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for designing, integrating, sustaining, and optimizing enterprise-scale dataflow architectures that support mission-critical analytics across secure cloud and distributed environments. You will apply systems engineering principles throughout the various phases of the systems life cycle: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. You will collaborate with Government representatives, engineering teams, operations personnel, analytics organizations, and senior stakeholders to develop scalable, resilient, and secure dataflow capabilities that enable mission success.
