Includes PCs, laptops, Chromebooks, printers, wireless access points, projectors, touch screen panels, tablets, etc. * Ability to work in different environments - independently, with a partner, and in groups. * Working knowledge of Google and Microsoft products * Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of end-users * Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions * Ability to report work orally and/or in writing to supervisors * Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff and others contacted in the course of work * Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form * Ability to install and run network cabling using ladders and lifts * Analytical, problem-solving, and creative-thinking skills with respect to computer-related issues Physical and Mental Demands, Work Hazards: * Works in standard office and school building environments. * Able to lift and carry computer monitors, printers, and tower systems (up to 50 pounds) * Working knowledge of tools and equipment required to install network systems including security cameras and network cabling * Understanding that this position is meant to serve others in the school district to assist with teaching and learning., Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to: * High School diploma. * Related college or technical school coursework. * Documented training in computer hardware, software and network use, troubleshooting and repair. * A+ certification and/or networking certifications preferred. * Motor Vehicle Operator's License and ability to provide own transportation. * Significant successful related experience in computer and network installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair. ## Description Under the general supervision of the Director of Technology and building Principal, to maintain and keep the school district's laptops, Chromebooks, computers, tablets, phones, printers, wireless access points, and network equipment in operating condition, meeting the technology needs of the district; troubleshooting and repairing computer hardware and software, and resolving immediate computer operational problems.
