Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with competing deadlines ## Description As a Network Administrator, you will be supporting a Bay area customer with the administration and operations of their network infrastructure. You would be responsible for implementing, managing, and troubleshooting networks and systems according to the company's needs and goals. This position would be responsible for installing and maintaining computer systems, monitoring computer and network systems to improve performance, making sure all users know how to use the networks and systems properly, and ensuring all system users have authorized access. Maintaining system security, making sure websites function, upgrading network and computer systems, and fixing network, hardware, software, and systems problems are all duties of a Network Administrator. Maintaining computer networks and systems including software, mainframes, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware installing and configuring network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues updating virus protection software to keep data and communications protected. Monitoring computer systems to improve network performance for computer systems and networks. Communicating networking issues to other employees and management, especially in training new users.
