## About the Role

* Master's degree + 4 years experience OR Bachelor's degree + 8 years experience OR 12-15 years of software development experience without a degree.
 * Proven experience developing code in microservice-based architectures.
 * 3+ years of Agile experience utilizing DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines.
 * Experience with React web applications.
 * Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
 * Preferred Qualifications:
 * Experience with Docker and Apache Camel.
 * Familiarity with DoD STIG process.
 * Must be able to obtain a Final Secret DoD clearance.
 * Must reside near Laurel, MD to travel to office or customer site as needed.

## Description

* Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java Spring Boot and React.
 * Participate in the full Agile development lifecycle for microservice-based architectures.
 * Work with relational databases (Postgres) and NoSQL databases (Redis).
 * Implement automated unit testing using JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber.
 * Collaborate on Agile Scrum teams, completing user stories and delivering high-quality code with minimal oversight.
 * Support acceptance testing, load testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
 * Contribute to cross-functional teamwork and incremental feature development.
 * Maintain development standards, best practices, and participate in code reviews.
 * Communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers.
 * Interface with customers and external teams to explain application functionality.
 * Demonstrate completed functionality to stakeholders during sprint reviews.
