## Description

Global Client recently assumed responsibility for a strategic Google Commerce initiative supporting a large enterprise client. The team requires experienced engineers who can design, build, and enhance cloud-native commerce applications running on Google Cloud Platform.
This role focuses on developing scalable, secure, and highly available commerce solutions supporting digital ordering, customer engagement, and business growth initiatives.

First 30 Days

 * Understand existing commerce platform architecture
 * Learn application integrations and business workflows
 * Review current development backlog and delivery priorities

Within 60 Days

 * Deliver enhancements to commerce applications
 * Improve API integrations and platform performance
 * Contribute to cloud-native development initiatives

Within 90 Days

 * Deliver production-ready commerce capabilities
 * Improve scalability and reliability
 * Support modernization and future-state architecture initiatives

Key Responsibilities

 * Design and develop cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform
 * Build APIs and integration services
 * Support digital commerce workflows
 * Enhance customer-facing applications
 * Participate in architecture and design reviews
 * Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment processes
 * Collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering teams

Technical Requirements
Required

 * Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
 * Java and Spring Boot
 * REST API development
 * SQL and NoSQL databases
 * Git
 * Agile development methodologies

Preferred

 * Kubernetes (GKE)
 * Docker
 * Pub/Sub
 * BigQuery
 * Cloud Run
 * Microservices architecture
 * Commerce platform experience
 * Digital ordering platforms, Someone who can take ownership of application delivery, contribute immediately, and help modernize a large-scale commerce platform while working closely with engineering and business stakeholders.
This role combines cloud engineering, application development, and digital commerce expertise.
