In this "Eyes on Glass" role, you will be responsible for the continuous monitoring of enterprise network systems, hardware interfaces, and application health. You will act as the first line of defense in identifying system events, correlating alarms to eliminate duplication, and issuing critical outage notifications. This is a high-responsibility position requiring a disciplined professional who can maintain peak focus during overnight shifts to ensure uninterrupted system availability., Active Monitoring: Maintain continuous "Eyes on Glass" surveillance of network devices, interfaces, and applications using automated monitoring tools and intelligent hardware. Incident Management: Create and manage tickets, incidents, and service requests within the enterprise tracking system, ensuring all events are documented with high accuracy. Event Correlation: Analyze and correlate multiple incoming alarms to isolate root causes and eliminate duplicate event reporting. Outage Notification: Execute initial outage notification protocols, communicating system events to stakeholders as directed to facilitate rapid response. Operational Scheduling: Monitor system-level scheduling alarms and alerts to ensure all 24/7 operational requirements are met.
