Expertise in embedded C and assembly language, particularly for system initialization. * Familiarity with at least one MCU IDE on Windows from ARM/Keil, IAR, Eclipse, or others. * The candidate must be able to independently manage assigned tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to seek clarification when needed are essential. * Experience in prioritizing tasks and managing workflow for oneself and potentially others in the future. Ability to delegate effectively and keep projects on track to achieve desired outcomes. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer. We do not sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas (now or in the future) for this role. ## Description As a member of the Security team at Ambiq, the Senior Staff Software Engineer, Security will participate in developing and supporting Ambiq's TrustZone-based Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) offering for the Apollo & Atomiq SoC and emulation platforms. This role will work within our Security software development team and will work closely with SoC and system architecture teams, Security architects and local SoC design team, focusing on enabling the TrustZone functions in Ambiq's SoC and software offerings. A successful candidate should be a fast-learning, result-driven, and self-motivated team player with an "always learning" mindset. He should have an inquiring spirit and be comfortable in a lab environment and with hands-on debugging of embedded systems. The candidate will be involved in the extension of each of these to cover new MCU members of the family as they become available.
