Experience Requirements: * 4-6 years in SOC/IR or security engineering within MSP or enterprise. * Demonstrated expertise with MDR/EDR/SIEM, VM, PAM, ZTNA, and M365 security. * Strong scripting (Python/PowerShell) and automation experience. * SIEM content development, EDR response, mailbox forensics, mail flow tuning. * Knowledge of CSF, incident response lifecycle, and forensic triage techniques. * Experience using?problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.? * Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and client expectations.? * Demonstrated success improving operational efficiency, reducing downtime, and increasing client satisfaction.?Strong written documentation and customer-facing communication skills. ## Description The Security Engineer serves as the advanced escalation point and incident response leader for security operations. The Engineer conducts root cause analyses; manages configuration drift and security gaps; and acts as incident commander for major incidents as needed. This role elevates Integris-managed clients environment's security by maintaining a stable secure environment and guiding them through both security incidents and other service disrupting incidents., The Security Engineer supports Integris' mission by delivering operational excellence, developing high-performing teams, and maintaining service reliability across a 24x7 managed services environment., Advanced Escalations & Incident Command * Lead escalations for complex alerts, detections, and multi-vector incidents. * Act as incident commander; coordinate response, stakeholder comms, and post-incident RCA. Drift & Vulnerability Management * Monitor configuration drift and increased risk indicators; execute remediation plans. * Own remediation of SAC-reported gaps within SLA. * Lead the remediation of vulnerabilities within the defined SLA. SAC Collaboration * Analyze SAC gap reports; produce remediation work items and validate closure evidence. Root Cause & Problem Management * Perform deep RCA; implement durable fixes and detection logic improvements. * Serve as SME for security tools; mentor Specialists/Technicians.
