## About the Role

* Education & Experience:
 + Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field (ABET/CAE-accredited) OR 5+ years' experience in network design, infrastructure, and security
 * Technical

 * Hands-on experience configuring routers, switches, firewalls
 * Experience applying STIGs, IAVA compliance, and DoD cybersecurity policies.
 * Familiarity with RMF, network segmentation, and defense-in-depth design.
 * Familiarity with virtualized networking infrastructure and Software Defined Networking (SDN)

 * Preferred (Nice to have)

 * Working knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture, VPN security, PKI, and common attack vectors.
 * Familiarity with Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) tools and traffic analysis.
 * Experience supporting DoD environments

Certifications:

 * Must have a current and active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
 * Proficient with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies

Travel & Passport

 * Some overnight stays possible.

## Description

We are currently seeking a Network Engineer to support operations in Quantico, VA. This is a full-time position requiring an active DoD Top Secret clearance.

What You'll Do
You will:

 * Provide network engineering, administration, and cybersecurity support for multi-classification networks and infrastructure
 * Create virtualized environments to support test events, ensure operational readiness, and troubleshoot issues during execution.
 * Administer network systems: apply patches, harden systems, review logs.
 * Support RMF compliance activities, including documentation and vulnerability analysis.
 * Integrate server and virtual hosting technologies into secure network architecture.
