If you are a skilled Service Desk/Field Technician, we have a spot for you. You would be responsible for providing technical assistance for our many clients; support related to computer systems, hardware, or software - but it's all about the people you would be helping. If providing the white glove quality service with excellent customer service while also gaining knowledge of all things IT related is something you thrive on, this is the role for you. You'll respond to support queries, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and determine and implement solutions. Candidates must currently reside within 30 mins of North Boston, MA (areas close to Haverhill, Medford, Somerville, Lowell, etc.). This position will work from home and must be able to go on-site to support the clients in the Greater Boston Metro area at least 3-5 times a week. Must have your own vehicle (not public transportation). Travel mileage is reimbursed., 6. Candidate should have experience in IT support, must be able to work well under pressure, independently, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills., * Experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft desktop and server systems, MS Exchange, Active Directory, IIS, and Terminal servers. * Networking - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Routing, VLAN, IPSEC and SSL VPN, Firewalls and Wireless networks. * Knowledge of Storage arrays, backup and replication solutions, monitoring systems. * Experience in troubleshooting technical issues. What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications): * Certifications or experience with products from VMware, FortiGate, Microsoft, and Cisco. * Experience with TrendMicro, Dell Server, and storage, Symantec backup exec and enterprise vault, Veeam, CrashPlan, Google Apps, and Apple products. * Knowledge working for an MSP with remote monitoring and management tools. * Experience in the design and implementation of IT solutions to fit client needs. * Familiar with setting up VMware Virtual infrastructure. Hyper-V advantage. * Familiar with MAC troubleshooting and deployments.
