(If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience), * Experience building or leading platform-grade capabilities (API platforms, integrations layers, workflow/automation platforms, shared services). * Strong experience with cloud-native architectures, managed cloud services, and container (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm). * Expertise in API and integration patterns (REST, gRPC, GraphQL, API gateways, OAuth2/JWT). * Experience with DevOps and platform engineering practices (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automated deployments). * Familiarity with event-driven architectures, observability, monitoring, and operational readiness. * Understanding of Generative & Agentic AI concepts, including LLMs, embeddings, prompt engineering, and responsible AI considerations. * Experience or exposure to GenAI tools and platforms (e.g., enterprise copilots, LLM APIs, vector databases, RAG-based architectures). * Architecture or cloud certifications are a plus ## Description We are seeking a Technical Architect to lead the architecture and technical direction for enterprise-scale software and platform solutions. This role is responsible for defining end-to-end solution architectures, governing technical quality, and acting as a trusted technology advisor across multiple teams and stakeholders. * Own and drive end-to-end architecture for enterprise software platforms, shared services, and applications. * Define target-state and transition architectures, including system decomposition, integration patterns, and data flows. * Lead architecture decisions (build/buy/reuse) and clearly articulate trade-offs, risks, and dependencies. * Act as a technology advisor to business and technical stakeholders, translating business objectives into pragmatic solutions. * Facilitate architecture workshops, design reviews, and technical discussions to drive alignment and decision-making. * Establish and enforce architecture standards and governance, including security, scalability, performance, resilience, and operability. * Partner with engineering, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure solutions are implementable and production-ready. * Proactively identify and mitigate cross-team dependencies and architectural risks. * Mentor senior engineers and junior architects; promote consistency, best practices, and engineering excellence. This is a hybrid role and will require three days per week in the office. Hiring location is Columbus, OH.
