While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to: bend, stoop, kneel, twist, reach with hands, grasp, stand, sit, hear, speak, finger dexterity, walk, run, lift up to 30 pounds, push, pull, and have visual acuity. ## Description PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Development and Relationship Manager works at the direction of the Chief Executive Officer and the Resource Development Task Force to plan and execute development strategies and procedures for the Organization., + Plan, execute, and manage various fundraising campaigns in support of organizational resource development goals and strategies to ensure success. * Special Events + Support Resource Development Department in execution and oversight of planning and execution of events. + Planning duties include timelines, progress report, board, staff, and volunteer participation sign-ups, ticket sales, vendor relations, securing event sponsors and in-kind donations. * Community Relations and Public Relations + Assist Chief Executive Officer in development of strategic alliances with local community organizations, leaders, and perspective donors. + Reach out to all community members the Organization services to give them a better understanding of our community impact/importance in an effort to get them more involved individually, professionally, and financially.
