## About the Role

* Hardware installation, configuration, break/fix, and decommissioning
 * Familiarity with data center cabling:
*

 + Copper and fiber
 + Installation and troubleshooting
 + Ability to understand port maps and point-to-point connections
 * General understanding of enterprise-level data center infrastructure

Preferred Skills

 * Project experience, including management or deployment
 * Experience with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools, such as

## Description

+ OpenDCIM
 + Nlyte
 + Sunbird
 * Experience with ticketing systems, such as:
*

 + Remedy
 + RemedyForce
 + ServiceNow

Scope:

 * Inspect and clean fiber cables
 * Label cables on both ends with Flag Labeler
 + Customer to provide labeling schema
 * Install pre-terminated fiber cables according to provided cabling matrix
 + Utilize existing pathways and overhead ladder racks/ trays
 * Secure and organize cables
 * Provide the following onsite:
 + Fiber inspection probe
 + Labeler that prints flag labels
 + Fiber cleaning kits
 * Inter and Intra rack fiber
 + No backbone
