A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a social science research field or in statistics and computer science with a strong research component. 2. 1 or 2 years of experience working with diverse cultural and economic background populations in data collection, storage, and analysis. 3. Willingness and ability to work with data collection software, especially QuickBase. Willingness to learn and/or manage large datasets using QuickBase for data collection, storage, and analysis. 4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Microsoft Excel. Experience with SPSS is a plus. 5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. 6. Effective collaboration with diverse stakeholder groups, including administrators, program managers, teachers/instructors, and parents. 7. Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. 8. Capacity to work in interdisciplinary, cross-functional, and multicultural settings. 9. Consistent and dependable attendance record., 1. Master's degree in a social science research field. 2. Possession of a valid driver's license/state ID and access to transportation for outreach activities. 3. Bilingual proficiency is preferred in English and Spanish. ## Description Under the leadership of the Executive Director and with the support of Program Managers, the Data Analyst will collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data related to the Latino Education Institute's (LEI) programs via pre- and post-surveys, questionnaires, interviews, observations, and other data collection methods as needed. The data will be used for various reports to funders, the community, and WSU. It will also support the revision and enhancement of programs, curricula, communication, and field activities. The candidate must be knowledgeable about or very familiar with different data collection software and programming, especially QuickBase, the software we use to collect, store, and analyze data. It is important to have the willingness and interest to learn how to use QuickBase., 1. Maintain the data collection system following "The Program Navigation Guide, LEI Data Collection Tools." 2. Collaborate with the Executive Director and Program Managers throughout the year to collect and properly store quantitative and qualitative data by implementing various evaluation tools used in our programs (e.g., pre-and post-surveys, questionnaires, interviews, observations, and others). 3. Analyze the quantitative and qualitative data collected using QuickBase to provide results and identify trends and insights. 4. Work with our QuickBase software representative for training and troubleshooting as needed. 5. Generate reports summarizing data related to demographics, outputs/outcomes (results), and trends per program. This may include the analysis of large datasets and effective visual representations of results (e.g., charts, graphics, tables). 6. Support Program Managers in assessing the results and impact of their programs and services based on the programs' goals and objectives and/or Logic Models. 7. Manage historical student data files to monitor performance trends. 8. Provide staff with training and support on data collection, input into QuickBase, analysis, and reporting as needed. 9. Design and implement new data collection tools, such as surveys and questionnaires, for new or specific events or programs based on the goals of these events and programs if needed. 10. Conduct online research to gather new data from reliable/official sources related to demographics and social and health-related trends in the Latinx community at a local, state, or national level. 11. To collect quantitative and qualitative data (like program observations and interviews), attend late afternoon programs (after school) and out-of-school programs (Saturdays or during the summer). Occasional evening events may also need to be attended. 12.
