Within IG Tech, we are elevating AI engineering to accelerate investor outcomes across Equity, Fixed Income, Risk & Portfolio Construction, Research, and Trading. The Senior Principal, Software Development Engineering is a very senior individual contributor who will be deployed against the most complex, highest-impact problems, building, integrating, delivering production-grade AI systems (predictive, generative, and agentic), and partnering with engineering teams across IG Technologies to deliver durable business value. This person will design, build, and operate production ML systems and agentic AI workflows end-to-end - including data pipelines, modeling, evaluation, deployment, observability, and safety. They will partner closely with engineering leaders and individual contributors across IG Tech, help to set technical direction, mentor other engineers, and work hands on with quantitative researchers and product/engineering teams to translate ambiguous investment problems into reliable AI solutions aligned with IG priorities.
