This role is responsible for building high-performance multi-tier applications, leading technical design discussions, and guiding development teams through the full software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Java, Spring frameworks, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies. This role requires strong collaboration with QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions while maintaining best practices in coding, testing, and system design. This position also plays a key leadership role, mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and ensuring quality delivery across multiple application modules., Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance multi-tier applications using Java/J2EE technologies and compatible frameworks. Lead architectural discussions and requirement analysis, translating business needs into high-level and detailed technical designs. Develop and consume RESTful and SOAP web services, ensuring secure and efficient integration across systems. Build and maintain microservices-based architectures using Spring Boot, ensuring modularity, scalability, and fault tolerance. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following SOLID design principles and established design patterns. Perform thorough unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure application quality and reliability before deployment. Lead and mentor a team of 5-10 developers by conducting code reviews, providing technical guidance, and ensuring delivery across multiple modules. Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams to ensure smooth delivery through CI/CD pipelines and adherence to SDLC best practices. Design and optimize SQL and PL-SQL database schemas and queries, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability. Implement secure coding practices aligned with PCI-DSS and OWASP security guidelines. Manage defects, track progress, and maintain source code using tools such as Jira and Git or SVN. Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture designs, API specifications, and deployment guides. Identify opportunities for performance optimization, code refactoring, and development process improvements.
