 * Experience with enterprise Java technologies such as JPA, Hibernate, or Java EE

## Description

We are supporting a fully funded, mission-critical program in the Ft. Meade area and are seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to help build and maintain a large-scale enterprise system used by the U.S. Intelligence Community. This role offers long-term stability, technically challenging work, and the opportunity to work alongside elite engineering teams supporting national security missions.

This is not a maintenance role. Engineers on this team are responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying new capabilities in an Agile, DevOps-driven environment.

What You'll Do
In this role, you will:

 * Design and develop enterprise Java applications using Spring and modern frameworks
 * Build and maintain RESTful web services and backend business logic
 * Develop automated unit, integration, and behavior-driven tests
 * Work in a SAFe/Agile environment with sprint planning, PI planning, and daily stand-ups
 * Collaborate with engineers, testers, and system architects to deliver high-quality software
 * Support deployments to test and production environments using CI/CD pipelines
