Experience * Minimum of five (5) years of cybersecurity experience performing system hardening activities. * Demonstrated experience implementing STIGs in enterprise environments. * Hands-on experience performing vulnerability assessments using ACAS. * Demonstrated experience remediating vulnerability findings and implementing vendor patches on both Linux and Windows operating systems. Preferred Skills * Strong understanding of DoD cybersecurity policies and security compliance standards. * Experience supporting secure enterprise or mission-critical environments. * Knowledge of vulnerability management and patch management processes. * Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex cybersecurity issues. * Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Work Environment * Government and/or DoD support environment. * May require work in classified or secured environments. * Position may require maintaining privileged user access in accordance with DoD policies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), conducting vulnerability assessments, and remediating security findings across Windows and Linux environments in accordance with DoD cybersecurity standards.
