This role is critical to ensuring the integrity, performance, and scalability of rate changes that support client-facing applications and internal operations. The ideal candidate will bring an AI-first mindsetandwill oversee a global team of SQL developers and Rate System Analysts, including overseas contributors, to deliver high-quality, accurate changes, and business-aligned solutions., * Lead a distributed team of SQL developers and Rate System Analysts, including overseas team members, ensuring alignment across time zones and cultures. * Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of SQL databases, stored procedures, views, and functions to support business applications and analytics. * Manage and maintain financial rate tables, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and business requirements. * Promote the use of AI tools to enhance data quality, anomaly detection, and performance optimization. * Collaborate with Product and Account Management teams to align rate structures with strategic goals. * Drive continuous improvement in database performance, scalability, and reliability. * Analyze existing data architecture to identify technical debt and recommend modernization strategies. * Stay current with emerging data technologies, tools, and best practices, and recommend adoption where appropriate. * Coach, mentor, and collaborate with technical subject matter experts and business stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions. * Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including data models, architecture diagrams, and integration workflows. * Ensure data governance, security, and compliance across all database systems and rate platforms.
