WHAT TO BRING * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline. * 0-2 years of technical or internship experience in all phases of software development lifecycle. * Knowledge of electronics components and embedded systems. * Ability to read and interpret product specifications and software requirement specifications. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Full professional written and verbal proficiency in English. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. WHAT WILL HELP * Experience with automotive communication protocols - CAN and LIN. * Experience with microcontrollers and microprocessors. * Experience with signal processing. * Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile methodologies., At Gentex, we use E-verify to confirm you're authorized to work in the U.S. E-Verify - English & Spanish Right to Work - English ## Description The Embedded Software Test Engineer I is responsible for the development and execution of automated and manual software test procedures to verify that the product behaves as expected with reference to specific detailed requirements.
