Must have experience translating requirements into functional solutions,participatingin design reviews, writing unit tests, and following secure coding practices. * Clearance:U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance., * Education:ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) or Application Developer (CAD) certification preferred. * Experience:Prior Navy or DoD IT experience; experience supporting enterprise ServiceNow environments; experience with database development or data interoperability programs. * Clearance:Active DoD clearance highly preferred. ## Description As a ServiceNow Developer supporting NIWC, you will play a key role in designing, engineering, and maintaining enterprise ServiceNow workflows that strengthen digital modernization efforts across the command. You will leverage ServiceNow development best practices, DoD/DON cybersecurity standards, and NIWC enterprise architecture guidelines to deliver secure, scalable, and interoperable solutions. Your work will directly contribute to mission readiness by modernizing legacy processes, improving system integration, and enhancing service delivery across NIWC Atlantic. Key Responsibilities & Expected Outcomes * Develop & Modernize Enterprise ServiceNow Solutions. Build, configure, and enhance ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows to streamline operations and automate manual processes across NIWC Atlantic. * Ensure Secure & Compliant Development. Apply DoD cybersecurity requirements, follow secure coding practices, and conduct thorough reviews of ServiceNow scripts, business rules, and integrations to ensure compliance. * Support SDLC Using Agile Methodologies. Participate in requirements analysis, sprint planning, design reviews, daily standups, and backlog grooming in alignment with NIWC's Agile development approach. * Maintain Platform Interoperability. Build and support integrations with enterprise systems, databases, APIs, and low-code capabilities to ensure seamless interoperability across platforms and alignment with command IT standards. * Contribute to Data & Systems Engineering Efforts.
