Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future. ## Description The SCADA Support Engineer will provide Field Support for SOLV SCADA solutions., *This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned, * Technical lead for SCADA troubleshooting and diagnostics including but not limited to; plant controls, data acquisition, field level devices, and network related issues. * Support DAS (data acquisition system) installations and retrofits on existing PV systems on an as needed basis. * Document existing equipment and functionality as it relates to the PV plant communications network and DAS systems. * Utilize software based diagnostic tools to aid in troubleshooting of complex plant SCADA systems. * Maintain point of contact to SOLV Energy O&M team for SCADA technical support requests. * Identify appropriate escalation path for problems that require SCADA engineering support. * Coordinate with customers, vendors, and field technicians for on-site and/or remote troubleshooting and diagnostics. * Maintain support records and maintenance activity for SCADA devices deployed in the field. * Contribute to the design and requirements for SCADA solutions by providing voice of customer feedback. * Develop and maintain support knowledge base for SCADA related troubleshooting and diagnostics. * Deliver service and support to end-users using a variety of third-party software monitoring applications. * Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization.
