Background: The IT Application Developer/Analyst will support existing applications, develop new applications, and assist with strategies to transform the portfolio to modern architectures. The Developer/Analyst will be accountable for the reliability, performance, and uptime of these IT solutions. Key Functions: * Understands business and manufacturing processes and the role of the IT solutions in the execution of those processes. * Performs complex application analysis, problem solving, implementation, and documentation * Develops a sound understanding of relevant technologies in order to most effectively assess and implement software applications * Participates in the preparation of requirements specifications, detailed technical designs, and construction phases of the overall software development lifecycle, as well as working closely with the Project Manager * Works with architects, senior developers, and system administrators to ensure the effective implementation of detailed technical designs and resulting software * Educates users on how to use the solutions and systems for optimal business value.? This may include creating training materials in multiple media and formats. * Maintain support documentation and related knowledgebase. * Participates in ITIL incident, problem, and change processes as appropriate.
