You'll own the planning, coordination, and delivery of cross-functional programs that touch multiple teams, systems, and stakeholders. This is a high-leverage role for someone who thrives on bringing clarity to complex, interdependent work and who can speak fluently with engineers, product managers, and leadership alike. You won't just track tasks - you'll shape how we plan, surface and resolve risks before they become blockers, and create the operating cadence that lets a fast-growing team move quickly without breaking things., * Own end-to-end program execution for major cross-functional initiatives - from kickoff and scoping through launch and retrospective. * Build and maintain program plans that map dependencies across engineering, product, design, and data teams, keeping everyone aligned on scope, milestones, and timelines. * Drive the operating cadence - run planning cycles, standups, reviews, and launch readiness; make meetings sharp, decisions clear, and follow-ups accountable. * Identify, escalate, and resolve risks and blockers early, proactively unblocking teams and re-sequencing work when priorities shift. * Translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders, turning complex engineering realities into crisp updates for leadership and clear context for the teams doing the work. * Improve how we operate - establish lightweight, scalable processes for planning, prioritization, and delivery that reduce friction rather than add it. * Maintain a single source of truth on program status, dependencies, and decisions, so anyone can understand where things stand at a glance. ## Related Videos - [Improving quality with Agentic AI with Rovo Dev and Xray](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2005-improving-quality-with-agentic-ai-with-rovo-dev-and-xray) - [Innovating Developer Tools with AI: Insights from GitHub Next](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1268-innovating-developer-tools-with-ai-insights-from-github-next) - [It's all about the Data](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/425-it-s-all-about-the-data) - [The End of Software as we know it](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1393-the-end-of-software-as-we-know-it) - [Collaboration Quantified: Lessons from Open Source Developer Networks](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1422-collaboration-quantified-lessons-from-open-source-developer-networks) - [Building the Next Generation of Software](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100186-building-the-next-generation-of-software) ## Related Articles - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [What is Software Engineering in the Age of AI?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/640-what-is-software-engineering-in-the-age-of-ai) - [How to Become an AI Engineer](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/331-how-to-become-an-ai-engineer) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [MLOps And AI Driven Development](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/82-mlops-and-ai-driven-development) - [What is Agentic Programming and Why Should Developers Care?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/625-what-is-agentic-programming-and-why-should-developers-care)
