## About the Role

Do you have experience in Video streaming?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * 3+ years of experience in video playback streaming QA

 * BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
 * Experience with automated test frameworks
 * Strong troubleshooting skills
 * Knowledge of streaming technologies like DRM, HLS, and DASH
 * Ability to work with cross-functional teams
 * Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
 * Drive issues to resolution
 * Provide root cause analysis if needed

Desired Skills:

 * 3+ years of experience in a relevant field
 * Familiarity with streaming technology certifications
 * Automation testing expertise
 * Strong communication and interpersonal skills

## Description

Seeking a Quality Engineer focusing on video streaming and playback QA to join a fast-paced media technology team. This role is focused on ensuring best-in-class playback performance, reliability, and user experience across a large cross-platform streaming ecosystem.
The role is contract-to-hire and open to remote candidates, with a preference for those open to occasional onsite interaction in the LA OR NYC area., The Quality Engineer II will be responsible for:

 * Owning and expanding cross-platform player testing strategy with a focus on automation
 * Designing and maintaining scalable automated test suites
 * Improving test coverage and reducing manual regression cycles
 * Validating QoE metrics and different playback types
 * Leading QA efforts across various platforms
