This department is responsible for all business supporting IS/IT. The IS/IT department consists of about 10, mostly product-related, Agile/DevOps squads. IT Engineering Support consists of 24 enthusiastic IT Engineers and Consultants divided into 3 squads who work closely together and use Agile methodologies. The squads include system, software and IT architects, application and infrastructure specialists. They gather the requirements, validate them against security procedures and design solutions, and implement them with both the end user and other IS/IT squads. We are a young and dynamic group, are self-managing, manage our own products/projects and are involved in the latest IT developments within the Thales group. As a Linux Dev/Ops Engineer you will be a part of the Linux squad and work closely with other colleagues within and outside the squad., The day starts with a stand-up in which the squad looks at what they did yesterday, what they will do today, and whether there are any obstacles. After the stand-up, you will start rolling out and/or improving the tooling. You provide support to Engineers and are a source of information for your colleagues. You are also continuously working to improve cooperation within your own and between other squads. Using the Agile principles, you work with the squad on the stability and security of Linux servers and (virtual) workstations. ## Related Videos - [Local Candidates vs International Talent - Building the Very Best Dev Team](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1067-local-candidates-vs-international-talent-building-the-very-best-dev-team) - [Docker network without Docker](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1418-docker-network-without-docker) - [How a Small Team Shrank a Microsoft Monorepo by 94%](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1236-how-a-small-team-shrank-a-microsoft-monorepo-by-94) - [From DevOps to Scaled DevOps: How We’re Rebuilding Continuous Delivery as a Platform](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100018-from-devops-to-scaled-devops-how-we-re-rebuilding-continuous-delivery-as-a-platform) - [#90DaysOfDevOps - The DevOps Learning Journey](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/548-90daysofdevops-the-devops-learning-journey) - [Navigating the Corporate Jungle: Life as a Developer in a large Company](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/621-navigating-the-corporate-jungle-life-as-a-developer-in-a-large-company) ## Related Articles - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [Best Companies in the Netherlands: Top 25 Companies in 2023 ](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/193-best-companies-in-the-netherlands-top-25-companies-in-2023) - [Find a Developer Job: 12 Best Job Sites For Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/165-find-a-developer-job-12-best-job-sites-for-developers) - [How to land a developer job in Amsterdam](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/36-how-to-land-a-developer-job-in-amsterdam) - [The Netherlands – Europe’s powerhouse for software development?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/31-the-netherlands-europe-s-powerhouse-for-software-development) - [Where To Find Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/396-where-to-find-software-engineering-jobs)
